CRISTIAN PETRE is an Associate Partner with Brandient, after he joined it in 2004, as a Senior Art Director. He began his graphic design career 10 years ago as a freelancer and in the meantime he has gained extensive experience as a Senior Art Director for Saatchi & Saatchi and D’Arcy Romania. He exercised creative design both in various advertising campaigns for local and international brands and in corporate identity and packaging, which became his special areas of interest. He created and supervised the worldwide advertising campaign for Azimut luxury yachts in 2001-2002 (the largest global campaign to be created and supervised from Romania).
Cristian has a broad art-based education, started at 14, when he enrolled in the Art Highschool in Iasi. Subsequently he graduated the Academy of Art (College of Design & Decorative Art) in Bucharest in 1995. He also attended design scholarships at Brighton University (UK), Bath College (UK) and Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam), which have broadened considerably his horizons.
With a characteristic tenacity, Cristian is relentlessly pursuing his designs from the first sketches up to the final print, until we get tired and clients get happy.
