CRISTIAN ‘KIT’ PAUL is a founding partner and Creative Director of Brandient. Before setting up the brand consultancy with his partners, he served time as art director and creative director with the advertising agencies Graffiti/BBDO, Tempo Advertising and D’Arcy in Bucharest and also as a freelance graphic designer in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Singapore. He cut his teeth in many advertising campaigns and on the way he also enlisted some coveted national and international nominations and prizes.
He got his formal education at the Computer Science & Automatics Polytechnics / Faculty in Cluj-Napoca, the Academy of Visual Arts / Design Faculty in Cluj-Napoca and the University of Art / Design Faculty in Bucharest, but has always found something more exciting than to graduate any of them.
Ultimate Apple addict, Kit has to check Macintosh sites at least once a day to get his fix. If he ever had a vacation, he would either spend it in Asia or on internet, reading non-stop about topics like the role of design in communities and the social responsibility of the designer. And writing posts for his blog.
He makes copywriters envious with his slogans and copy-writing skills and lately he begun speaking the business idiom. We do not hold these against him.
Overall, he is a living proof that people change for the better.
